Event Start

The first days racing of the Husqvarna Hard Enduro will be the Satco Logging Equipment prologue which will be held at the Satco yard right in the middle of Tokoroa. Sign on, Scrutineering and riders briefing will also be held at Satco.

Race Day

The Husqvarna Hard Enduro will be a cross country style race from the start to the finish. Riders will start one at a time and there times will be recorded throughout the day at each check point until the final check.
Each day riding will feature a different start area.
Day 1 off road start will be about 10 minutes drive east of Tokoroa and will be sign posted from State Highway 1.
Day 2 start will be on Tram Road about 30 minutes drive south of Tokoroa sign posted from State Highway 1.
All directions and maps will be available at the first riders briefing.
Each day will be based in a different place. It is up to riders to look after their own bikes and equipment to the start each day.

Starting Order

Riders will start one at a time every 30 seconds. The first days start order will be decided by the prologue results. The second days race order will be determined by the results from day 1.

Each day riders will pass through four checkpoints per day where there times will be taken. Check points will be a maximum of 40kms apart. When riders reach the main fuel stop they will have a compulsory 20 min break this will be about half way through the day. The lunch break check point is the only checkpoint that your service crew can get too.

Track Marking

Each rider will have to provide their own GPS that the organiser will upload each days track on. Riders will follow the track on their GPS from the start to the finish each day. Also the track will be marked with bunting tape that will be hanging from trees etc to indicate the track direction. There will also be signs to indicate grade direction and signs for speed restrictions.

Only Garmin GPS units will be accepted by the organiser. If you are unsure please give us a call. Riders must have their GPS unit set on track and record setting so at the end of each day the organisers will look at your GPS to make sure that you have done all of the course and obeyed all speed restrictions. When presenting your GPS at sign in please make sure it has new batteries and is turned on. All riders must supply their own new batteries for the second days racing. If you are new to GPS navigating, guidance and training will be available at sign on and prologue.

Prize giving

Results from day one and Day 2 riders briefing will be held at the Beez Neez Lodge.

Final prize giving will also be held at the Beez Neez Lodge from 6pm onwards on Sunday evening.

Prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top three place getters in each class. Also each rider that finishes the event will be awarded a finishers medal.
